The board members of the Etobicoke-Lakeshore EDA express their profound sadness and extend sincere condolences to the Brad Szela family following Brad’s sudden passing following a car accident on Friday, February 28th on Highway 401. Brad’s dedication, passion and enthusiastic support for all aspects of the Conservative Party impacted everyone he met, especially during his time as an active member of our board from 2014 to 2017, when he served as creative/communications director. At the time of his death, Brad was a full time assistant IT director at the Peter MacKay leadership campaign.

It was with deep sadness that I heard the news that a valued member of the conservative family was lost in a tragic car accident. We will remember Brad Szela as a kind and loyal team player. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones and hope they will find strength in his memory to get through this trying time. His contribution to my campaign will be forever remembered.
